Getting started with VouchBot

VouchBot is a free Discord bot for collecting customer reviews with public and anonymous submission options.

Invite VouchBot

Required permissions

  • View Channel
  • Send Messages
  • Embed Links
  • Read Message History
  • Use Application Commands

Configure your server

  1. Invite VouchBot.
  2. Run /vouch-setup.
  3. Select the public vouch channel.
  4. Optionally select a private staff log channel.

Submit a vouch

  1. Run /vouch.
  2. Choose Public or Anonymous.
  3. Enter the product/service, rating, review, and optional order ID.
  4. Submit the form.

Anonymous mode

The public embed shows “Anonymous”. When a private log channel is configured, staff can still see who submitted the review.

Troubleshooting

Commands do not appear

Reinvite the bot with the applications.commands scope and wait for global commands to sync.

Vouches are not posting

Check that the configured channel still exists and that VouchBot has View Channel, Send Messages, and Embed Links.

Private logs are empty

Run /vouch-setup again and choose a private-log-channel. Confirm the bot can post embeds there.
